The combination of cooling action and bandage compression helps to reduce or prevent swelling in injured tendons and ligaments.  If the bandage is left on, it simply dries out and can be recharged with liquid coolant.  To recharge a completely dry bandage, pour 100ml of coolant into the resealable bandage packaging with the bandage.  Once the bandage absorbs the liquid, it's ready to use!
